A fifty minute philosophy class is required of all students at Columbia Secondary School (CSS) and is taught by all teachers, regardless of their field of specialization. The program is designed jointly by Dr. Paul Thomson, the Philosopher-in-Residence at CSS, and Dr. Deanna Kuhn, of Columbia University Teachers College.
